Self-Quarantining Due to COVID-19 | Things to do at Home for your Home

Are you currently self-quarantining yourself due to the COVID-19? Social Distancing? Wondering what to do with your new and extra time at home? I’m sure you can think of a ton of things that can be done. But, if you’re looking for something to do at home for your home. Here’s a quick list.

Clean

No better time to clean. Not just because you suddenly have the time at home, but also because it comes as a recommendation by the World Health Organization during this time.

Declutter / Re-organize

Spend some time decluttering. Go through your kitchen cabinets and closets. If you find yourself with items you’d like to donate to a good cause. Reach out to Abigail Eli who works directly with those in need. Call (808) 429-9486 for free pickup of all items you’d like to donate. Also, check out Marie Kondo’s Netflix series for some tips and tricks.

Rearrange/Re-decorate

Were you ever curious to know how what that sofa would look like in that other corner of the living room? Maybe now is the time to try rearranging furniture in your home. Or maybe you’ve had a picture you’ve been wanting to hang and never had the time to find a spot or hang it up. Feng shui!

Garden / Yard Work

Get some work done outside! Take advantage of the daylight hours you’ll be spending at your home.

I’d love to hear!

What have you been doing during this time at your home?

Have your plans to sell your home been put on hold due the coronavirus? Although things are uncertain – this doesn’t change what needs to be done in order to get your home ready for the market. Use this time to get a jump start on these basic to-dos when listing your home for sale.
