There’s nothing quite as rewarding as seeing the joy that my clients experience after a successful closing. With luxury properties, the stakes are high, and that’s why I treat every transaction with the care and excellence needed to reach that joyous conclusion. When it comes to helping those in search of Maui's affordable condos or a family buying their first home, I maintain that same standard of excellence, providing the attention to detail and transactional knowledge that are key to a successful, seamless real estate transaction. With credentials in both Accredited Buyers Representative, and designated Resort and Second Home Property Specialist, I excel in guiding buyers through the process of finding their dream properties, whether they are looking for a primary residence or vacation home.
Raised in Florida, I originally moved to Maui for a one-year hiatus with my sister and best friend in 1982. From the second I stepped off the airplane and onto Maui soil, I fell in love with the island and never looked back. Blessed to be a Maui resident for over 40 years, and I truly believe there’s no better place to live! Having lived and worked in both South Maui and West Maui, I know the island well, and as a Realtor specializing in luxury properties, I use this extensive local knowledge to help my clients find the right location and property so they can enjoy all that there is to love about the island.
For over 30 years, I worked in Lahaina helping clients upgrade their interiors, and have been inside thousands of condos and homes across Maui. Since becoming a Realtor, I have used my interior design background to help buyers find a home that will fit their lifestyle and aesthetic, while also helping sellers market their property in the best way possible. As a new agent with the Top Maui Homes sales team, I co-listed and sold an oceanfront home for over 7 million dollars.
As a Realtor at Hawai’i Life, I work with a professional team that reflects the Maui community as a whole - I enjoy volunteering at my church in Kids Ministry, and also working alongside some of our Hawai‘i Life realtors, serving dinners at the local shelter. There is a sense of teamwork, ohana, and constant support from within the company. Hawai’i Life also gives back to the communities that we serve through outward contributions and charity funds, and this is a value that I share.
Beyond my professional accomplishments, I am proud to say that I am a wife, mother, and grandmother, blessed beyond measure with my amazing family. When I’m not working or spending quality time with my family and friends, I enjoy golf, kayaking, hiking, tennis, pickleball, and fully embracing the active Maui lifestyle. If you’re ready to share the joy of life on Maui, and successfully sell or buy a property on the island, contact me today and I’d be happy to partner with you!

Buying or selling a home can be a very stressful process. I have worked with many realtors, own many real estate properties, primary homes and investment properties on main land and Maui. I also ran a real estate investment firm’s realtor recruiting and training department. Hands down Darla is one of the of the best relators I have met. I have known Darla over 15 years and one of the best customer advocates that you will ever come across.
I have very high expectations and I interviewed many realtors and was looking for a realtor with these trades to represent me on Maui: who know the Maui market, professional, knowledgeable in the RE process, excellent negotiator, have a sense of urgency, patient, excellent customer advocate with highest level of integrity. And someone that had the talent and resources to stage my property for sale for a reasonable commission rate. And Darla made the cut. We started discussing selling one property and I was so please she ended up representing and selling 3 properties. They were all closed on the same day. What I have learned over the years there are many realtors but only 2% fall in to the best realtor category and Darla in my opinion falls in the 2% categories. If you are new to the island or long time Maui resident, you will not be disappointed selecting Darla as your realtor.
