Why Is Kanani Wailea Such A Great Value?

Located in the northeast corner of Wailea sits a development called Kanani Wailea. Built in 2006, these 38 residential condominiums are detached from one another making them feel like single-family homes. Each unit features high-end finishes like Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, dual pane Milgard windows and steel-frame construction. They range in size from approximately 1,909 square feet to approximately 2,369 square feet. Five different floor plans with 3 or 4 bedrooms and 2.5 – 4.5 bathrooms were offered in one-story or two-story configurations. Many of the one-story units have a small detached ohana separated from the main house by a courtyard, allowing owners and their guests a degree of privacy.

The community clubhouse has an outdoor kitchen next to the infinity pool, hot tub and fitness center. One of the best parts about owning at Kanani Wailea is the ability to lock your unit up and leave Maui without worrying about the gardening and pool. An on-site manager takes care of everything while you’re away!

The homes on the south side of the property are primarily single-story units that overlook the Kilohana Park and have incredible ocean views. A number of larger two-story units are throughout the property, some with great views and quiet locations. Although some units sit in close proximity to the Piilani Highway and experience increased road noise, they do represent a great value relative to other residential condominiums in Wailea and South Kihei. The map below outlines ideal homes in the neighborhood.

Units shaded in green generally are quietest with the best ocean views. Most units shaded in blue have great ocean views but a few may experience some noise. Units in yellow offer some of the best values in the community but may experience more road noise relative to the other homes.

The Roger Pleski Team currently has home #28 listed for sale. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Kohala floor plan has approximately 1,984 square feet and is on the market for $1,049,000. The ocean views from the kitchen, living area and master bedrooms are tremendous. The owners take great care of the unit and added some unique touches, like an outdoor built-in Wolf gas barbeque, a gas Wolf range and designer paint and window treatments.
