We were out kayaking in Maikaiwa Bay off the Mauna Lani Beach recently and whales were surfacing everywhere. Several surfaced very close to the kayak.
View the video below for some of the action we recorded, especially the baby whales breaching. Pretty exciting. Excuse the bouncy video, but it’s hard to keep the kayak steady!
