The beautiful Wailua River, Kauai
I am reminded every day and around every corner, it seems, why my husband and I chose to live here. The sheer beauty of all the nature I’m surrounded by never ceases to amaze me and leave me breathless.
One of my very favorite spots is the Wailua River. Every time I drive across the old cane haul bridge in Wailua, Kauai, I can’t help but take my eyes off the road to gaze out at the exquisite beauty of this tranquil river set against the backdrop of the stunning mountain ridge, Sleeping Giant. What a lovely sight!
Of course, this river provides so much more than just a picture-perfect setting; it’s also a great spot to enjoy many activities, including kayaking and hiking to Uluwehi Falls (Secret Falls). It’s like something you would only see in a movie. I can understand why many decide to make Wailua, here on Kauai’s east side, their home.
It’s one of the reasons why my husband and I decided to make real estate our full-time careers.
