Steady Upward Trend Continues with Condo Sales & Prices in Waikoloa Beach Resort

Here’s an update on condo unit sales and prices at the Waikoloa Beach Resort.

WBV Sales Units to Sept 2013

Catching up to the last 6 months sales in units, the upward trend continues and increases over the period. Inventory seems to have increased as well. Six months ago, the number of condos on the market was in the mid to high 30’s; it’s now up to 49, although there are only 18 condos available under $500,000.

Median condo sales prices continue the steady uptrend and show an increasing trend over the past 6 months. Prices are still well below the pre-recession highs and interest rates, while off their lowest point, still remain historically low. Still a great time to enter this market.

Thanks for the update. Buyers may be interested to know the Shores board has made very good decisions over the past 2 months and the property will reflect such in 2014. Landscaping being upgraded by Puna who also cares for Kolea and the Vista- also ponds are going to be treated like the Kings pond.

Looks as if 2014 will push the nicely updated Vista condos into the low $500,000’s. With Waikoloa Beach Resort being the best Kohala Coast rental resort by number of visitors, I would guess 2014 will push the remaining inventory prices higher.
