All eyes are on Trump Tower Waikiki because despite the downturn in the economy, the ultra-luxury hotel-condominium is closing like hotcakes. To date, sales of more than a half billion dollars have and are about to wrap up escrows, and the number of closings has surpassed the 317 mark.

Donald’s daughter was recently in town touring the prestigious high rise. She boasted that the tower has proven to be a major landmark and prime Waikiki real estate. Last month, she roamed the halls of the building that bears her family name, and many found her to be a spitting image of her father.
