A gorgeous, locally made monkeypod desk can be used as a workspace with an ocean view or switch things up for a mini-bar when the sun goes down… An assortment of board/card games adds to the good times to be had… This room also offers a large flat screen smart TV, (Netflix, HULU, Apple TV streaming ready..) split A/C with remote, 2 XL ceiling fans, and custom tinted windows for privacy/sun protection. The lanai/patio: stainless steel BBQ with 4 super comfortable chaise loungers and an LED light solar umbrella for ultimate sunning or getting lost in a great novel on the breezy shore. Step into the ocean to cool off out front and snorkel in the shallow waters. Need some sandy beach time? Next door is white fluffy sand Swanzy Beach park. Walk to this usually uncrowded beach. Take the Tommy Bahama beach chairs with built-in insulated coolers, located in the shed, for some sun and fun. Rinse off the sand and the day in the outdoor shower back at the cottage. Also included are yoga mats/hand weights. Memories to last!
The bathroom/1st floor: gorgeous artisan tiled roomy walk-in shower is stocked with Paul Mitchell awapuhi shampoo and conditioner, farmed on the Big Island of Hawaii. This bathroom is shared with all the rooms in this cottage.
The loft space is located within the pitched roof line on the upper floor: *MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN OR THOSE WITH STABILITY ISSUES, as there is a very narrow set of stairs and rails that open wide to the lower level. This space boasts some of the most dramatic ocean views and a sweet upper level garden view. Queen sized bed and ample dressers for storage. A cozy reading nook is stocked with a unique collection of local authors and history of the surrounding area. A/C from the main living area below this space flows up to cool this space. There is also an oscillating fan for ample air-flow if needed.
