I always get a kick out of reading Annie Mendoza’s articles on Big Island tennis properties, such as her recent one, the U.S. Open and Mauna Kea. She has a great shot in there of the tennis courts at Kapiolani Park with Diamond Head as a backdrop, which is an awesome public court. There are also some really cool luxury properties on Oahu that have their own tennis court if you don’t have the patience to wait in line to play.
This property on Hawaii Loa Ridge (MLS# 1015798) sits on just under 3 acres
There’s one for sale on Hawaii Loa Ridge in an exclusive gated community that comes with its own clubhouse and sits on nearly 3 acres overlooking Diamond Head.
Here’s a tennis court on an oceanfront listing (MLS# 1014344) in Aina Haina
There’s a cool oceanfront estate in Aina Haina that sits on just over 1.4 acres, includes an 8 bedroom, 7.5 bathroom home that is over 10,000 square feet under roof and is available for $11 Million.
This Portlock home (MLS# 1101376) in Hawaii Kai also has its own court
There’s also a mid-century modern home in Portlock I wrote about that was designed by Alfred Preis and is within walking distance to the ocean.
Tennis Court at Hokua (MLS# 1100226)
If you’re a tennis fanatic and don’t want to deal with the hassles of maintaining a single family home, Hokua is one of Oahu’s most sought after luxury condominiums, where current listings range from $1,499,000 to $5,999,500.
There are also some more affordable condominium complexes on Oahu that have tennis courts. Feel free to contact me for more information.

@ David. Glad that you get a kick out of tennis, too, David! These Oahu tennis properties are killer with their courts and views, etc. The estate on Hoimi Pl.looks like a great deal and probably not too hard to “update” the actual residence, yeah?

@Annie – It turns out the Hoimi one is actually the old clubhouse for “The Pointe”, which is a gated community within the gated community of Hawaii Loa Ridge. So, you would be rehabbing the “clubhouse”. Plenty of potential as a lot that size on Hawaii Loa Ridge is so rare… Someone will get a good buy 🙂

@ David – Ah…I must have felt the good vibes that have been shared at “The Pointe” clubhouse. Maybe from a past tennis life? lol
