Here in Kona the draw is the ocean – the sports it creates like surfing, diving, sportfishing, paddling canoes and stand up paddle boards – and the frosting on the cake is all of the amazing creatures within
Lucky my daily morning routine involves slipping into the warm ocean waters in Kona at the break of dawn….yes, even in the winter the water is warm! I often swim with the dolphins and watch their amazing antics – I am so grateful my days are filled with amazing experiences in this wonderful island environment. Sometimes I will go a week without seeing the dolphins and I wonder what dolphin party is being held and where! Then they are back visiting me with curious eyes.
I am taking my friend (and past client) Eddie, who is visiting from Cleveland for a week, to swim with the wild dolphins on Saturday. We are going on stand up paddle boards so we will view the bay as we paddle around and see wildlife in the crystal blue waters, hopping off our boards to swim with the dolphins. This vantage point shows us the natural aquarium below our feet!
As a Realtor on the Big Island, with a lifetime spent on and in the ocean, its only natural my special joy is selling homes that are oceanfront and near the beach.
Oceanfront and beachfront real estate sales for me stems from my love of Hawaii, its people & my roots here. I arrived by schooner in 1971, after sailing with my family for 7 years through the primitive & remote isles in the South Pacific. A great appreciation for the Hawaiian & Polynesian people and their culture made it natural for me to stay. Foremost in my love of being here for over 40 years are the people.
I am excited that you can buy homes right now near the beach, and at such bargain prices! Contact me today for your own private tour.

That’s awesome Heidi! I’ve paddled with dolphins off Waikiki and swam with them on Lanai. Glad to know you’ve got a friendly pod on the Big Island as well 🙂
