Streamside Trail of Waimea Offers Family Friendly Recreation

The Streamside Trail of Waimea (also known as Ke Ala Kahawai O Waimea) is a 1.04 mile trail along the Waikoloa stream through Waimea town. This family friendly scenic trail offers the community a traffic free place to jog, walk dogs, and ride bikes off road.

Currently, the trail begins at Kanakila Park, it crosses the stream in two places and ends at Kahawai Street. Members of the community have worked hard at creating the trail, which is packed dirt and wood chips.
