Soroptimists International of West Maui is a women’s club that was established more than 35 years ago in Lahaina by a fellow REALTOR, Ruth McKay, with the purpose to support the young and not so young women in our community in their efforts to enhance their education and improve their lives. Via grants, scholarships, and community events, the Soroptiomists of West Maui have supported their Lahaina community with much zeal and pleasure.
April 8th is Second Friday in Lahaina, a neighborhood event featuring live music and entertainment, a car show, and a very special Silent Auction organized by the Soroptimists.
Come bid on gift certificates for restaurants, activities, various items, and hotel stays. This year, we are trying something new: “buy now” values for hotel stays are quite discounted – so hurry up if you want a real deal at the Westin, Kaanapali Beach Hotel, Napili Kai Resort, Grand Wailea, Mahina Surf, Aqua Palms in Waikiki, or Park Shore in Waikiki.
