If you’ve been thinking, I am ready to sell my home. What are your next steps? In today’s blog, we’ll go over just that.
Is Now a Good Time to Sell?
If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines, but are ready to get in the game, now is the time to sell! The market is hot, inventory is low, homes are moving fast and buyers are paying top dollar.
I’ve been asked a couple of times, “if the market is so hot right now, do I really need to hire an agent?”
Do I Need an Agent?
Here’s the thing: You CAN sell your home without an agent. But, keep in mind that 90% of for sale by owners fail to sell their home without an agent. If you want to maximize profit in a minimal amount of time you need an agent.
Stats show an agent typically gets you 25% more on the sale which completely covers the agent’s commissions! Plus, your agent will do the heavy lifting, and take the burden off you so selling will be as stress-free as possible.
We’re a Team
We’re a team in this, so let’s break down who does what during the selling process.
Your job entails, deciding to sell, selecting an agent, setting the price, and keeping the home in show-ready condition.
Working Together
We’ll work together on preparing your home for sale so it sells faster and for more money. Pricing your home for the market, negotiating offers, contingencies, and closing. Communication is key, remember we’re a team. Communication plays a very important role for all parties that are involved.
My Job as Your Real Estate Agent
My job is to list your home for sale, have professional pictures, video, and drone taken, market and advertise your property to the masses of buyers who are local and worldwide looking, schedule showings and follow up for feedback, schedule inspections, appraisals, and help coordinate closing times and dates plus more.
If you or someone you know is looking for an agent who knows our area, feel free to reach out. We’d love to connect and help you, your friends, or your family sell their home.
