Saturday, March 10th – An Evening of Fine Art, Culinary, Wine & Music to Benefit Poipu Rotary

Driven by a desire to make an impact in the community, One Fine Evening is a signature fundraiser event hosted by the Poipu Rotary Club. Money raised will go towards KCC Community College scholarships, community service projects, and non-profit community grants. It will be this Friday, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. at the Kilohana Luau Pavillion.

The event will highlight some of Kauai’s best chefs and feature samplings from some of our finest restaurants including:

• Sushi Bushido
• Kauai Community College Fine Dining
• Kauai Marriott
• Keoki’s Paradise
• Lappert’s Hawaii
• Merriman’s Fish House
• Oasis on the Beach
• Ruth’s Chris Steak House
• Kauai Grill at St. Regis Princeville

There will be a variety of wines that are unavailable for purchase anywhere else on Kauai but will be available for purchase at the event. For an additional fee, there will be a special connoisseur tasting of reserved wines available for a limited number of guests. For non-wine drinkers, there will be soft drinks, water, and coffee available. Additionally, if you sign up as a designated driver, you will receive a special bracelet and get two $5 certificates that can be used towards any purchase at the silent auction. The huge silent auction will have something for everyone. There will be many items for bidding on, including hotel stays, fine dining, local services and much more.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the John Rivera Collective. Local artists participating include Debbie Barklow of Inspiring Images, Jan Ekelberry Hashi of Kauai Art, Jody Heller of Jody Heller Fine Art, and a first time featured artist this year is Steve Hashi of Overboard Art.

Tickets are available online for $65/person in advance, or for $75/person at the door. Tickets are also available for advance purchase at The Wine Shop in Koloa and Ultimate Nails in Waimea.
