Another Ossipoff Home Hits the Market on Waialae Nui Ridge

Earlier this week a new Ossipoff listing popped up on Waialae Nui Ridge. Having a few clients in the market for one, I went by to preview it.

It had some great lines and typical features of his homes on the ridge, with great cross ventilation, built in storage, etc. Unfortunately for a few clients, the improvements were “nice,” however, redone in more of a taste of the owner than perhaps the original home. For instance, the tiled floors are beautiful, however, they at one point were most likely a more simple concrete look. The kitchen was redone nice and kept with the lines of the era. Another nice thing is there’s also gas cooking (rare on Oahu) that was piped in from the street.

Some of the cooler features I liked in the home was the pass through window from the master bedroom to the living room, a built-in punee in another bedroom, and of course the view!

Although this home didn’t work for the current clients I’m working with, I still think it’s a great buy. It’s been awhile since I wrote on article on another Ossipoff home on Waialae Nui Ridge. Although they’re more abundant in this neighborhood, they still don’t hit the market every day…
