Are you looking to purchase a NEW home in Ewa Beach, Hawaii? The next lottery release at Kohina at Hoopili has been announced. These homes are sold by lottery only. The lottery will consist of 5 Flex Homes, 2 Studios and 8 Townhomes. These homes are studios – 4 bedrooms with living space from 682 – 1810 square feet. These brand new homes are priced from $402,970 – $714,860. There’s something for everyone!

Lottery Dates:

Applications Due: Friday, August 14, 2020 by 5 pm.

Lottery Held: Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 10 am.

Next Steps

To participate in this lottery, the first thing to do is start the pre-approval process. If you use DR Horton’s in house lender, they’ll offer closing cost incentives. You can use any lender of your choice. If you would like the preferred lender’s information, we could send you the link to start the online process. The lottery application and pre-qual letter will need to be submitted to the sales office by 5 PM on August 14, 2020.

How the Lottery Works

The day of the lottery, names are from a bag from the submitted applicants. As names are drawn, that’s the order in which potential homebuyers will be able to select a home. For example, if you’re called third, you would be the third person to select a home of what’s available on the list. Lotteries are now closed events and not open to the public. The sales office will reach out to prospective buyers via email and telephone. The future homebuyer will have 24 hours to select a home and deposit $1,000 to hold the selected home. The $1,000 will be applied to the purchase of the home.
