Nauru Tower – Still Grand After 30+ Years! /築30年超でもまだまだ素晴らしいナウルタワー

You may not necessarily know the name, but if you’ve been in the Ala Moana Center area, chances are you’ve seen the stunning semi-cylindrical architectural wonder that is Nauru Tower. Built in 1990, it still looks as grand as the day it first opened, thanks to cutting-edge construction technology and meticulous maintenance and upkeep over the years. (This month, they are repainting corridors and re-staining all wooden front doors!)

名前にはあまり馴染み無いかも知れませんが、アラモアナショッピングセンター近辺に行ったことのある方ならきっとこのユニークで画期的な半円筒型のビルを見たことがあるでしょう。1990年に最新の建築技術を駆使して建てられたナウルタワーは超一流のメンテナンスのおかげで今でも当初の輝きを保っています。（今月は廊下のペンキ塗りと木製ドアのステイニングを施工しています。）

Great Views from Nauru Tower

The building has arguably the best views of Ala Moana Beach Park and the ocean, on par with Park Lane, Hokua, and the new “front row” Ward Village offerings like Waiea and (soon) Victoria Place.

This two-bedroom listing (#604) has been owned by the same owner since the developer sold it, and has very “low mileage” on it due to infrequent use as a vacation condo. The luxurious building itself is 76% owner-occupied and very resident-friendly (minimum rental period of 6 months) but please note no dogs are allowed (with the exception of service dogs–please check).
