Two Homes Currently For Sale at Bluffs at Mauna Kea
Last Friday night I was invited to a brokerʻs sunset open house event at one of the two listings currently for sale at the Bluffs at Mauna Kea. The house, designed by the late Hawaiʻi architect Thomas Bingham, a graduate of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, spreads its 9,000 sq. ft. over three stories with living, dining and gathering areas on the main areas, beautiful views from upstairs bedrooms, and resort-like features on the ground level.

No homes are for sale at the High Bluffs, but there are two lots listed if your preference is to build to your own taste. The lot size at both the Bluffs and High Bluffs is typically around 37,000 sq. ft., a little less than an acre. That size supports either the ample proportions of the homes found at the Bluffs, or a smaller home with a bit of distance from neighbors.

The two lots listed are both on the golf course side of the High Bluffs.
