Happy Aloha Friday! How are you guys hanging in this heat? For events on Maui this weekend, we have Paula Fuga performing a tribute to Aretha Franklin, the Kapalua Summer Junior Golf Camp, Rose’ Friday Series at the Grand’s newly renovated Botero Lounge and Jimi Lee at the Lahaina Yacht Club.
Paula Fuga – A Tribute to Aretha Franklin at the MACC
Tomorrow night at the MACC’s Castle Theater, local favorite and this year’s Na Hoku Honohano Female Vocalist of the Year, Paula Fuga honors one of her greatest musical influences with a tribute concert to Aretha Franklin. If you’ve never seen Paula Fuga live, you are missing out! Additionally, she will be joined by a 10-piece band including a three-piece horn section. This show is sure to be a night to remember.

Kapalua Summer Junior Golf Camp
This weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, PGA Professionals Mark Nelson and Tony Aranda will lead this camp to prepare players for their upcoming High School and competitive seasons. The focus will be on full swing and short game in this program designed for players 13-17. Call 808-877-KAPALUA for more information or to register.
Rosé Friday Series: Art of Rosé at the Grand Wailea’s Botero Lounge
The Botero Lounge at the Grand Wailea is now open!
Grand Wailea’s appreciation of art and ongoing Rose’ Fridays Series come together tonight at 6:30 pm in the Botero Lounge. Featuring artwork created on site by artists, Jessica Gorlicky and Tricia Calvert, it is sure to be a colorful and lively evening.

Jimi Lee at the Lahaina Yacht Club
If you are a blues/swing fan, you should check out Jimi Lee at the Lahaina Yacht Club tonight from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Lee’s swing style incorporated into Sinatra classics is a treat and his original blues songs are great.
