Maui Weekend Events – September 13

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui has some fun in store for us. Slightly Stoopid and Steel Pulse will be at the MACC this Sunday. The Ku Mai Ka Hula takes place this Saturday. 2nd Saturday at South Maui Gardens is such a great family event. And lastly, we have a few MIL football games and volleyball games this weekend on Maui.

Slightly Stoopid and Steel Pulse

Slightly Stoopid, Steel Pulse and Makua Rothman will be playing at the MACC this Sunday night. Show start is 6 pm. Gates open and pre-concert food and beverage at 5 pm.

Ku Mai Ka Hula

The 17th Annual Maui Ku Mai Ka Hula takes place this Saturday at the MACC. This is Maui’s premiere Hula competition. Award winning halau from Hawaii and throughout the United States will be competing in group and solo categories. Pre-show entertainment starts at 11:30 am. Competitions begin at 1 pm followed by awards ceremony.

2nd Saturday at South Maui Gardens

South Maui Gardens – Hidden Oasis of Kihei hosts a community party every second Saturday of the month. 2nd Saturday features 10+ local favorite food trucks. A night market featuring local artisans and vendors also on site. The music feature this month is Shea & The Full Flavor Band. This is a free event, but reservations are recommended. Reserve your spot here.

MIL Sports

We have three Division I Football games this weekend. Friday’s game King Kekaulike v. Maui High at War Memorial. Game Start is 7 pm. Saturday morning, Baldwin will be at Molokai. Game start is 11 am. Saturday night Kamehameha Maui will play Lahainaluna in Lahaina. Game start is 7 pm.

8-Man Football started last week and Seabury took a loss against Lanai. This Saturday morning, Seabury plays Hana at Seabury Hall. Game start is 10 am.

There are five matchups this weekend in Division II Volleyball. Seabury is now tied with Hana for 1stplace. And these two meet up in Hana Friday night. Game start is 6 pm. Also this Friday night, Lanai will be at Maui Prep. Game start is 7 pm. Saturday morning Hana and Seabury will rematch at Hana and Lanai will rematch Maui Prep at Maui Prep. Kulanihakoi will meet Kihei Charter at the South Maui Gym. All Saturday morning game start times is 10 am.

1900 Pulehu Road is going under contract. 4355 Lower Kula Road has been under contract. Getting a lot more action on the large land listings lately. If you are interested in looking at land on Maui, I highly recommend taking action soon. Below are my current listings.
