Maui Weekend Events – November 15

Aloha friends! The feature this weekend on Maui is Art=Mixx at the MACC this Saturday night. Also on Saturday night, Sugar Beach Events presents Movie Night Under the Stars featuring Legally Blonde. The Kilolani Spa at the Grand will be offering a Full Moon Sound Bath this Friday night. ProArts Maui delivers three nights of live music this weekend. And finally, Murder on the Orient Express continues this weekend at the Historic I’ao Theater.

ProArts Maui – Live Music

ProArts Maui is offering three nights of live music this weekend. Friday night, R.E. Metoyer Blues will take the stage.  They are a blues, rock and soul revue. Show starts at 7:30 pm. Saturday night, Mana’o Radio presents Piano Night featuring Maui’s most talented professionals. Show starts at 5:30 pm. On Sunday, ProArts brings you Maui Song Writer Rounds. The features this week are Gretchen Rhodes, Jason Jerome, Ryan Hooley, and “Lia Live” Ledezma. Show start is 7 pm.

Full Moon Sound Bath

The Kilolani Spa at the Grand Wailea presents a Full Moon Sound Bath this Friday night. Honor the full moon with Maui Sound Healing founders Rasa Priya and Sarah Sundari. The sound bath will take place at the Chapel at 5:30 pm.

Movie Night Under the Stars – Legally Blonde

Sugar Beach Events presents Movie Night Under the Stars this Saturday night. The featured movie is Legally Blonde. Bring your blanket or beach chairs and enjoy the movie under the stars. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Movie starts at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Get there early so you can set up a good viewing spot. Click here for event info and reservations.

Art=Mixx: Dream Passport

Art=Mixx returns this weekend to the MACC this Saturday night. The theme, Dream Passport, is inspired by the Paths of Ink exhibit in the Shaefer International Gallery. This is one of the biggest and most awaited parties on the island.  Costume, spectacle and immersion art set the mood. Music by DJs Andrew Dana, Lobstah, Kaizen, and Boomshot. Interactive art stations include a passport booth and the Calligrapher’s Garden. Food and beverage available for purchase. Festivities begin at 7 pm. This is 21+ free event for the community. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for purchase.

Murder on the Orient Express

Murder on the Orient Express continues this weekend at the Historic I’ao Theater. It will run on the weekends through November. Show times are 7:30 pm on Fridays and 3:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. This is a classic and fun for the family. Suitable for kids over 12 yrs.
