Maui Weekend Events – December 6

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui has some really fun festive events to get into the Christmas season and an exclusive Kama’aina Night at the Kilolani Spa. Kick off the weekend with some relaxation in the Hydrotherapy Garden at the Kilolani Spa for a special Kama’aina Night. Decorate golf carts and enjoy a festive parade at the Pukalani Country Club on Saturday. Also on Saturday, the Maui Nui Botanical Garden is offering two wreath making workshops. If you love caroling, you are in luck! Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some) opens this Friday night at ProArts Maui.  The pre-show will include caroling with Louse Lambert. Then Maui Orchestra Pops presents Holiday Pops this Sunday afternoon.

Kilolani Spa Kama’aina Night

The Kilolani Spa at the Grand Wailea Resort is hosting an exclusive Kama’aina Night this Friday from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. The evening will include the Hydrotherapy Gardens, light bites, live music, beverages. Get your tickets here.

Wreath Making with Native Hawaiian Plants

The Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is hosting Wreath Making with Native Hawaiian Plants. There will be 2 sessions this Saturday. Morning session runs 9 am – 12 pm. Afternoon session from 1 – 4 pm. Attendees can create either a live wreath that can be watered to grow outdoors for months to years or cut green and dried native plants that will require no further maintenance.

6th Annual Holiday Fair & Electric Golf Cart Parade

The Pukalani Community Association presents the 6th Annual Holiday Fair & Electric Golf Cart Parade this Saturday from 4 – 7 pm.  This is a free event for the community at the Pukalani Country Club.  There will be activities for the kids, a visit by Santa, food and hot chocolate as well as other beverages.  Decorate golf carts then enjoy the parade.

Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some)

ProArts Maui presents Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some). The Show opens this Friday night and closes Sunday afternoon on the 15th. There will be matinee offerings for all ages on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Evening shows suggested 13 and up this Friday and next Thursday – Saturday evenings. This is a mash-up of all our favorite Christmas tales. Pre-show, Louise Lambert will be leading caroling around the piano.

Maui Pops Orchestra – Holiday Pops

The Maui Pops Orchestra presents Holiday Pops this Sunday afternoon at the MACC’s Castle Theater. This will be an afternoon of Christmas classics and holiday favorites. The featured vocalist is Alli Mauzey. She played Glinda in Wicked on Broadway. Show starts at 3:00 pm. Pre-concert food and beverage available from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
