Maui Weekend Events – December 20

Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui brings holiday fun and more. Evolution Dance Academy is putting on their 1st Annual Winter Show at Seabury Hall. Sugar Beach Events is offering two nights of Movie Night Under the Stars with a couple holiday favorites. The Roundabouts are hosting a holiday dance party on Saturday Night at Mulligan’s. Finally, The Maui Ocean Center offers the second and final night of Festival of Lights.

1st Annual Winter Show – Makena’s Dream

Evolution Dance Academy presents Makena’s Dream this weekend at Seabury Hall for their 1stAnnual Winter Show. This is a story based in the 1980s about a young girl that goes on a harrowing adventure to save her best friend from the Dragon King. There will be a Saturday afternoon show, and evening shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets $22, youth and kupuna $18.

Roundabouts Holiday Dance Party

Ag Presents and Mulligan’s on the Blue present the Roundabouts Holiday Dance Party. You are invited to come dressed in your best ugly sweater and holiday attire. Enjoy an evening of dancing to your favorite ’80s and ’90s music. Advanced online tickets are $10. $15 at the Door. Show starts at 7:00. Doors open at 6:00 pm.

Festival of Lights

Maui Ocean Center is hosting a night of fun for the whole family. Festival of Lights will have its final run this Saturday. Experience the magic of the holiday at the aquarium with light displays. Festive food and drink will be on hand. Diver presentations, crafts and How the Grinch Stole Christmas screenings for your entertainment.

Movie Night Under the Stars – Polar Express and Elf!

Sugar Beach Events presents Movie Night Under the Stars twice this weekend! There will be features this Saturday and Sunday nights. The featured movie on Saturday is Polar Express. On Sunday, the feature is Elf. Bring your blanket or beach chairs and enjoy the movie under the stars. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Festive themes, fun and activities on site. Movies start at 6:30. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Click here for event info and reservations on Polar Express and here for Elf.
