Aloha friends! This weekend on Maui has more festive fun in store. South Maui Gardens is also hosting their 2nd Saturday town party this weekend. Upcountry, we have a Christmas pop up in Haliimaile and Ulupalakua Ranch is hosting Christmas in the Country. Alexander Academy presents the Nutcracker with three showtimes this Saturday and Sunday. Maui Brewing Company is transforming the beer garden into the North Pole and hosting their Keiki Christmas Party this Sunday evening. The Maui Ocean Center presents Festival of Lights. Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some) continues at ProArts Maui with a pre-show that includes caroling with Louse Lambert.
Haliimaile Holidays Pop Up
Our favorite Haliimaile retailers come together this Friday evening to host Haliimaile Holidays. Event starts at 5 and ends at 8 pm. Live music, delicious food by Haliimaile General Store, a hot cocoa bar by the Maui Pineapple Store as well as demonstrations by Makai Glass and Aloha Fitness are included in the festivities. Christmas in the Country by Ulupalakua Ranch
Ulupalakua Ranch presents Christmas in the Country this Saturday. This will be an all day event running from 9 am – 4 pm. There will be over 30 local vendors and retailers. Live music, silent auction, a petting zoo and Santa visit with photo opportunities are among the festivities. Tickets $5. Kids under 12 get in free. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui and Common Ground Collective.
The Nutcracker
Alexander Academy presents The Nutcracker at the MACC. There will be one presentation this Saturday and two on Sunday. Saturday’s show starts at 6:30 pm. On Sunday, the afternoon show starts at 2:30. The evening showtime is 6:30. Pre-concert food and beverage available in the Yokouchi Courtyard two hours prior to showtime.
Keiki Christmas Party
Maui Brewing Company presents Keiki Christmas Party! this Sunday from 5 – 7 pm. The beer garden will transform into the North Pole for this evening. Santa will be visiting. Crafts will be on hand. Holiday movies will be screened and hot cocoa and cookies served. Space is limited and tickets required. Cost is $10. Children under 3 get in free.
Festival of Lights
Maui Ocean Center is hosting a night of fun for the whole family. Festival of Lights will run this Saturday and next from 6 – 9 pm. Experience the magic of the holiday at the aquarium with light displays. Festive food and drink available for purchase. Diver presentations, crafts and How the Grinch Stole Christmas screenings for your entertainment.
2nd Saturday at South Maui Gardens
South Maui Gardens – Hidden Oasis of Kihei hosts a community party every second Saturday of the month. 2nd Saturday features 10+ local favorite food trucks. A night market with local artisans and vendors also on site. The music features this month is Pete Sebastian backed by a five-piece band. This is a free event, but reservations are recommended. Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some)
ProArts Maui presents Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some). The Show closes Sunday afternoon on the 15th. There will be matinee offerings for all ages on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Evening shows suggested 13 and up this Thursday – Saturday evenings. This is a mash-up of all our favorite Christmas tales. Pre-show, Louise Lambert will be leading caroling around the piano.
