Maui Weekend and Easter Brunch Options

Aloha friends! Happy Easter weekend. We do have a fun-filled weekend ahead. I will share some of those events as well as some of the delicious Easter brunch options we have access to on Maui. I hope regardless of what you do, you spend some quality time with your family and loved ones during this special time. This Saturday, the Maui Humane Society hosts a Kitten Shower. The Cliff House is seating twice this Sunday. And lastly, recurring events this weekend include Lahaina 2nd Friday and 2nd Saturday at the Kihei Oasis.

Easter Brunch Options

Ka’ana Kitchen at the Andaz

Ka’ana Kitchen at the Andaz is arguably the best breakfast buffet and Sunday brunch on the island. The mochi waffles alone are worth the price of admission. Easter Brunch runs from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Usual stations include pastries, fruit, charcuterie, omelet station, as well as all the usual breakfast fixings. Special for Easter this Sunday brunch will include ahi poke, king crab legs as well as fresh catch, steamer dumplings and prime rib. The buffet is priced at $125 for adults and $62.50 for children over 5 years. RSVP is required and can be made by calling 808-573-1234 or at OpenTable where you can also view the full menu.

The Plantation House Restaurant at the Kapalua Resort

The Plantation House in Kapalua is hosting Easter brunch buffet running from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. They will be serving up shrimp cocktail, snow crab legs, lobster deviled eggs crostini, as well as sushi display. Besides that, all your favorite brunch offerings will be on hand including omelet station, smoked salmon and bagel display, eggs benedict, banana bread French toast and all your breakfast favorites. Prime rib carving station, seared fresh catch and pineapple guava glazed ham all on hand. The buffet is priced at $125 for adults and $25 for kids under 12.  Check out the full menu here.

Cane and Canoe at the Montage

Cane and Canoe is offering an Easter brunch that is not a buffet for those that prefer ordering off the menu. Brunch starts early at 7:30 am and runs until 1:30 pm. Menu features 4 different eggs benedict, malasadas, poached lobster, oysters, Hamachi tartare, prime rib, and duck confit. Check out the full menu here.

They are also offering festivities throughout the morning across the resort so plan accordingly. Easter egg scramble begins at 9:00 am. Cookie decorating station offered from 9:30  – 10:30 am. Balloon art from 10:00 am to noon and roaming magician from 10:00 – 11:00 am. And finally, Keith’s Magic Show on the Sunset Patio from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Hali’imaile General Store

Haliimaile General Store never disappoints and they are hosting an Easter brunch buffet beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 3:00 pm. Entrees include scrambled eggs with all the fixings and prime rib au jus. Seafood bar features shrimp cocktail, ahi poke and crab dip. Salad bar and desserts also offered. The buffet is priced at $68 for adults and $28 for kids aged 6-8. Check out the full menu and make reservations here.

Café O’Lei at the Mill House

Café O’Lei at the Mill House is hosting an Easter brunch buffet from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Brunch features carved roast prime rib, macadamia nut crusted chicken breast with a lemon caper butter sauce, blackened mahi mahi, honey macadamia nut roast pork, omelet station and a specialty salad station. Brunch is priced at $52 for adults and $26 for kids 4-12. For reservations and more details link here.

Kitten Shower at the Maui Humane Society

The Maui Humane Society is hosting a Kitten Shower this Saturday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. This event kicks off kitten season and you will be able to meet kittens of all ages, watch live demonstrations and participate in kitten games. Learn all about kittens, meet foster families and sign up to become a foster.

Champagne Hale at Cliff House

The Montage at Kapalua Bay will be seating the Champagne Hale at Cliff House this weekend. The pop up at Cliff House with epic views, champagne and pupus is the perfect way to cap off a day at the beach or pool. They offer 2 seatings at 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Sunday this weekend. $35 cover charge per person. For reservations, please call (808) 662-6627 or visit EVENTBRITE.COM.

Lahaina 2nd Friday Town Party

Maui Friday Town Parties bring the community together for a pau hana night of music, art, food, and Maui culture.  Friday night is Art Night in Lahaina every week. Each Friday from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, enjoy special gallery shows, featured artist-in-action and refreshments as you stroll through dozens of art galleries. Lahaina is dubbed “The Art Capital of the Pacific” because it has more art galleries per capita than any other American town. 2nd Friday brings additional local vendors to the party. Maui Gardens 2nd Saturday

South Maui Gardens – Hidden Oasis of Kihei hosts a community party every second Saturday of the month. This is a BYOB event and features eight local favorite food trucks. Also on deck is our local Reggae Ambassador Marty Dread with live music and dancing from 6 – 8 pm. This is a free event, but reservations are recommended.
