As a Realtor, I am always on the lookout for fun gifts to share with my clients and co-workers. I know I am not the only person who works with people who are difficult to buy for. That is why I was so excited when one of my fellow Hawai’i Life Charitable Fund board members Kristina Shugars presented an amazing opportunity to the board recently. Gunars Valkiris the CEO of Mau’i Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Inc. began a mission to give back to the nonprofit communities of Hawai’i and the Hawai’i Life Charitable Fund board was blessed to be able to be a small part of it.
After learning more about Ku’ia’s mission and realizing how aligned we are with it through the Hawai’i Life Charitable Fund, I decided to place an order for myself and a client to see how things are done. To say that I was impressed by the care and aloha that went into everything from the shipping box to the personally handwritten note would be an understatement.
I ordered one with gift wrap, and one with plain packaging.
Don’t even get me started on the quality of the chocolate!
