Help! I’ve lost my voice in Puako Beach, Hawaii Island, Kohala Coast!
Sounds like a tweet, or a Facebook update, doesn’t it?

Just another gorgeous sunset in Puako, across the street from my house
Well, that’s not so surprising, given that I’ve spent the vast majority of my “writing” time these past six weeks doing exactly that—a lot of “checking in,” a lot of twittering (LOVE Hootsuite!), and a lot of Facebook posting.
Granted, most of this time was spent on the road and attending interesting events, so this method of communicating was much more effective, and efficient for me under the circumstances. However, I didn’t expect to lose my “voice.”
Yes, Puako is still just as special a neighborhood as it’s always been—perhaps even more so with the stunning weather we’ve had this year.
But now, I tend to want to describe it in short bursts, not quite like haiku:
I heart Puako!
Woo Hoo! I agree!! RT @frayalesmana: PUAKO

Those of you who have known me a long time I’m sure are chuckling at the thought of me losing my “voice…” Please refrain from commenting below.
But the truth is, as I sit here listening to the birds chirp, smelling plumerias with the ocean across the street—as inspiring as this scene is to make me want to write a long, eloquent post—I sort of just want to give you the facts Facebook/Twitter-style and walk to the ocean and jump in.

Real estate is a practice, as is yoga, medicine, and it turns out…writing. I need to get back practicing the craft of writing to find my voice again! I’ll get right on that…just as soon as I re-tweet the article about Matt’s $4.6M listing on Kauai being picked up by the Wall Street Journal…

Katie; It was great seeing you in Puako last week. Nice to know you are taking the work hard relax hard seriously!! LOL
The house you wrote about listed by Gary Davis that was on tour this past broker caravan is undoubtedly the next to sell in Puako as the value is only excelled by the lot and views..with the feel of old Hawaii. Loved that house..with a little work it could be great once again.
Now I know why you were so quiet on your birthday. 🙂

@Pam – thanks for your support and encouragement, it’s ALWAYS a pleasure to spend time with you!
I agree #60 is the most likely to sell next… and in all fairness, this was not a “real” update, there are a few other new listings that I’ll have to be sure to write about next…
