The property is situated along the Big Island’s northern Hamakua Coast, known for its rainforests, hiking trails, waterfalls, oceanside cliffs, and many jungle-covered canyons and valleys. The dramatic topography draws visitors for its many hiking opportunities and panoramic Hawaiian vistas. It’s also near the town of Hilo, the largest town on Hawaii’s Big Island, which has lots of restaurants and shops along with the country’s only rainforest zoo and the Boiling Pots, a series of cascading basalt-lava rock pools.
