Going Vertical at the Kukui’ula Club Villas in Poipu, Kaua’i

Poipu, Kauai. From the moment I pulled into the valet in front of the Club at Kukui’ula yesterday morning, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 8:45 am, there was a special feeling in the air. Today was set to be a momentous day for Andy Sutton of East West Partners and all affiliated with Kukui’ulu and the Kukui’ula Club Villas.

It was a short walk from the front of the club house, past the spa, across the manicured lawn, where I was greeted by a gentleman offering mud boots to wear onto the job site. From here I could see blue sky (declined the mud boots) and hear the beautiful music of talented musician vocalists from the Greenstone Project. Have you heard them? They’re awesome! Speaking of awesome, in the background in the photo above, is the Green Pig gourmet food truck, waiting with our refreshments for after the ceremony.

Today’s Hawaiian blessing was performed by Reverend Ipo. It was a pleasure to be there, on this momentous day.

Whoohoo! Construction Begins

There will be a total of 13 exclusive single family residences in the Club Villas collection. The first release of six villas were reserved prior to breaking ground. The future homeowners must be so excited to see the progress! The ground has been meticulously prepared and today’s blessing of the Aina is about going vertical, the commencement of building.
