Kohala Land for Sale – Choose from an Abundance of Oceanview Lots

I have just spent the past two weeks showing/walking what feels like every build-able parcel on the entire coastline in each of the Kohala Coast communities from Kawaihae to Puakea Bay. While there are some great bargains in bare land to be made, the range of lots along the South Kohala Coastline varies greatly:

Kohala By the Sea: $220K—$399K will buy you a fairly level one acre lot (MLS# 235739) in this small gated community mauka (mountain) side of the road with curbs, street lights and nice ocean and coastline views.

Kohala Waterfront: $395K—$2.5M will buy you a half an acre-one acre ocean view lot (MLS# 233408) also in a small gated cliff side community, but on the makai (ocean) side of the road with a black sand cove just beneath you and whales so close you can hear them breathe and sing! (My favorite, as you can tell.)

Kohala Ranch: $198K—$699K will buy you one to fourteen acre lots in a sprawling gated development designed and built as an equestrian community, with trails and open range grazing throughout. There is an elaborate barn and stables at the top of the ranch. This gated community offers properties from elevations of 150 ft. (Heathers) to 2,500 ft. (Summit) with the Meadows at a pleasant 1700-1900 ft. in between. Ocean, coastline and Maui views from nearly every lot. (See MLS# 219231)

Kohala Estates: $165K! There is currently only one lot (MLS# 230388) available in this non-gated community. Lots here are between one and a half to five acres each. This development is on the mauka side of the road, but with the same wonderful ocean and coastline views as the Ranch and Kohala By the Sea and have no HOA or dues!

Puakea Bay: $458K—$1.150M. Ten acre agriculture-zoned lots set up for horses/cattle just minutes to Hawi Town with Maui/Ocean views and rural gentleman farm feel. (See MLS# 234304)
