Of the six foreclosure and short sale listings in Kihei last week, four of them were at the entry-level properties Southpointe and Kihei Villages. Twenty condos in the $130,000 range have closed at these two properties in the last six months, most of them bank deals. These are the lowest priced 2-bedroom condo properties in Kihei.
The week’s two most interesting foreclosure listings, however, were both further South—one at a residential condo (no vacation rentals) near Kamaole I and Charlie Young beaches, the other a spacious 1/2 vacation rental in southernmost Kihei at the upscale Maui Kamaole.
