Built in 2005-2006, 132 townhome units were constructed by Stanford Carr Development. Located on 11 acres off Waiale Rd., the common areas of this neighborhood are lushly landscaped with lauae fern, ti plants, and red ginger.
Literally, in under 5 minutes of my arrival at the complex, the Property Manager politely approached me and said a resident had reported that I was taking photos of the units. I explained that I was doing it for real estate purposes and that I wasn’t casing the neighborhood to rob later! So nice to know that such diplomatic and watchful people are employed to keep Kehalani Gardens safe.

Anyways, getting back to the structures, composed of three different floor plans and varying in size from 963-1170 sq. ft., each home comes with two parking stalls (one covered) and a fenced-in backyard. Backyard maintenance is up to the homeowner, yet the common grounds are kept up by the association.
Fenced-in, private backyards
There is only one, one-story floor plan. It’s a 3 bed/2 bath and 1,043 sq. ft. Located at the ends of the buildings, it shares only one wall and has vaulted ceilings in the great room.

The other two floor plans are two-stories. One is a 2 bed/2.5 bath at 963 sq. ft. The other is a 3 bed/2.5 bath at 1,170 sq.ft. Both these models are located within the main structures and therefore share two party walls.
