While we rush around preparing for Thanksgiving festivities, members of Kauai Path, Inc. are busy getting ready for the 2012 Kapa’a Turkey Trot. Kauai Path, Inc. is a community organization with the vision of Kauai residents working together to preserve, protect, and extend access island-wide through the design, implementation, and stewardship of non-motorized multi-use paths.

2012 Turkey Trot Event Details
This annual event is held Thanksgiving Day on the multi-use path, Ke Ala Hele Makalae, on Kaua’i’s east side. This event helps begin the day with an early bird burn, so you can enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends later without the guilt. Registration is FREE though participants are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items for Hale Ho‘omalu.

Where: Start & Finish at the Kapa’a Beach Park
Time: Check-in: 6:45 AM / *Prizes: 7:15 AM / Event starts at 7:30 AM
*Prizes are for costumes, decorated bikes/strollers, etc.
