Kapaa First Saturday is a monthly neighborhood party many local residents look forward to. Live music, tasty food, art, locally made jewelry and variety for everyone. It’s an evening that brings the community together, young and old. You can stroll the streets of Old Town Kapaa and boutique shop. Refresh on a hot day with a handcrafted Wailua Shave Ice. Sample fresh sweet malasadas or spicy street tacos. Sit on the second story mezzanine of The Spot and people watch.
You can expect to find lots of booths at Kapaa First Saturday with handmade treasures for sale.
Not even rain can put a damper on the fun. Last month, in spite of less than perfect Kauai weather, spirits were high and people enjoyed themselves. It really is one of the most happening places to be in all of Kauai. If you enjoy being in the mix with lots of people, you will love it.
Sample Outpost coffee – featuring locally grown and roasted beans – outside of Kiko’s.
Outside of Kiko’s Boutique, look for Outpost Coffee – a brand new small business start-up on Kauai that roasts select Kauai coffee beans. They are hand-pouring their small-batch roasted coffee for people to try. You can bring home a bag of beans or give them as a gift. And if you haven’t been in Kiko’s, you should check it out. Carefully curated art, textiles, books and more. It is a great place to find something unique for the person in your life who has everything.
Kapaa First Saturday will be happening this Saturday, October 6th.
