Kahilu Gold Concert at Kaunaʻoa Residence – Mauna Kea Resort

The Kahilu Theatre in Waimea (Kamuela) on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi held the second event in this yearʻs Kahilu Gold concert series at a private residence in the exclusive gated community of Kaunaʻoa in the Mauna Kea Beach Resort. The Oahu-based family band Manoa DNA performed for a sold-out crowd who came to support the Educational Programs of Kahilu Theatre.

The Kaunaʻoa Community at Mauna Kea

One of the draws to attend the Kahilu Gold concerts is the opportunity to experience some of the lesser known exclusive resort communities like Kaunaʻoa.

This 52-acre gated community within the Resort takes its name from the bay fronting the Mauna Kea Beach hotel.  It consists of only 20 paired townhomes and 24 ocean view homes sites where custom homes such as the one hosting the concert are being built.
