How Would It Feel to Live on a 103-Acre, Waialua Country Estate on Oahu’s North Shore?
What’s Life Like on a 103 Acre North Shore, Waialua Country Estate?
Let’s take a look:
7:00am:
Wake up to the sound of nature … maybe a distant “moo” from one of your approximately 30 grass-fed cattle. Perhaps an occasional call from peacocks that are part of the landscape. As you step out of bed onto the beautiful hardwood floors, the stunning mountain and ocean view from your master bedroom lanai proves its a gorgeous day for all of the activities that the North Shore has to offer. Breakfast includes toast with fresh avocado from your property and local fruit from one of several fruit trees, depending which is in season (whether that’s lychee, mango, banana or papaya with fresh lime squeezed on top).
9:00am:
After breakfast on your cedar wrap-around deck, you prepare for the day in your thoughtfully renovated master bathroom with granite countertops, travertine floors, and walk-in closet. With three bedrooms and two and a half bedrooms, maybe your family resides in the other bedrooms, or maybe you have space for friends and extended family to visit. Only 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport, your home is the perfect getaway. You decide to head into Haleiwa town (only minutes away) for some shopping, surfing, and lunch. You pull surfboards out of your three-car+ garage where there is ample storage not only hobbies/activities but also for a workshop or office.
4:00pm:
Returning from the beach, you are ready to relax for the evening. As you walk up to your front door, the resident peacock greets you home. Nestled on the Waianae mountain range with Mt. Ka’ala as your backdrop, coming home is a sigh of relief in the tranquility, peacefulness, and privacy of your home. Preparing to enjoy dinner with the sunset, you pull a bottle of wine from your wine fridge and decide on cooking your meal on your gas stove. Cooking underneath the high ceilings and tall walls of glass showcasing the expansive mountain and ocean views is the perfect setting for a delicious meal.
8:00pm:
As the temperature cools for the evening, you light your fireplace and settle in for puzzles with your family and friends or a good book before bed. Leaving your lanai windows open, your home captures the trade winds allowing you to sleep soundly in the cool and fresh mountain air.
