Horse-Friendly Property: Home on Acreage Near Hawi

I do my best to blog regularly about Big Island horse properties, as there is no simple way to search the MLS or third party real estate sites for them. I also like to blog about homes for sale on acreage near Hawi, North Kohala as that is another popular request.

I just saw a new listing that checks both boxes…whether you have horses, or just want acreage for privacy and gardens or farming.

I love how the new neighborhood of homes on agricultural acreage in Kapaʻau on Hall Road and Paipo Kane Road is shaping up. The lots ranged in size from 14 to 28 acres and so the homes are well spaced. Most of the lots have a portion of acreage in deep gulch, which offers additional privacy. And they have North-facing ocean and sometimes Maui views.
