Last weekend I had a chance to stay at Honua Kai in the Konea Building Unit #202 (presently for sale).

The corner unit on the second floor has amazing ocean views and is equipped with brand new, state of the art appliances, world-class BBQ on the lanai, and furniture, including flat screen TV’s throughout the unit. This 3 bed, 3 bath unit has 2,230 sq. feet, but feels much bigger, and with its modern design feels more like a home than a condo.
After our first cup of coffee on the lanai we headed down for a second cup in the lobby to see what else they had to offer. When we got to the next door lobby they had smoothies, fresh fruit, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and lots of other little items to purchase throughout the day.
After coming back to the room we changed and headed down to the pool, or rather I should say pools, from a lazy river to water slides this complex has a lot to offer, including an adult section (quiet section) and hot tub. After a full day lounging by the pool we headed to Duke’s (on property) for a late afternoon snack. They had good food and the ambiance was spectacular.
