Big Island's Kamuela (Waimea) Home Sales Continue To Be a Buyer's Market
With spring buyers here on the Big Island, there has been an increase in sales in many parts of the island. So, with that in mind, it’s time to take a look at the current state of inventory of homes for sale in the Waimea (Kameula) market here on the Big Island.
(MLS# 240613) is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home nestled at the top of Nob Hill offering stunning mountain and sunset views and listed at $1,585,000
At this time in April, there is a total of 78 homes listed for sale in Waimea—46 on the green side and 32 dry side listings. This compares with March’s total of 77 homes and February’s total of 78 homes.
As you can see, the Waimea market is basically flat at a 14 month inventory of homes for sale. With 6 months the dividing line between a buyer’s and seller’s market, a 14 month inventory is a very strong buyer’s market. I’ll be back again next month to see if these numbers move at all.
I love the Big Island! Aloha.

Pat – based on your 2 most recent blogs how interesting to see the trend of 2 different markets such as Waimea & Waikoloa Village, just 20 miles away from eachother!
