I’ve been sharing a series of blogs on loving where you live. Why? Because when you love where you live, you will be happier, healthier, and more engaged. You’ll have a greater sense of purpose and belonging in the world.
In my last blog, I highlighted two of Hawaii Kai’s most popular restaurants: Assagio and Kona Brewery. Today, I want to share one of my favorite coffee spots with you: Kai Coffee. It’s such a sweet spot and the perfect place to share a cup of coffee with a good friend or neighbor.
If you are looking for a casual and relaxing place to enjoy a Machiatto, Cappucino, Latte, or a blended Frappe, you’ll love Kai Coffee. You can choose from indoor or outside seating, but of course, the real gems are those you sit with.
Speaking of gems, you’ll be greeted by friendly and well-trained staff every time. Don’t you agree that John’s smile lights up a room?
There’s more to love about Kai Coffee than just the great coffee and the wonderful staff.
Treat yourself to one of their amazing acai bowls or enjoy a breakfast sandwich or daily special. Everything is yummy, though the turkey pesto sandwich is my favorite. If you have a sweet tooth, there is usually banana bread or other fresh pastries to choose from. You can also buy their locally made products, including a variety of their coffee blends, k-cups and macadamia nut syrup.
Did you know that Hawaii is the only state in the United States that grows its own coffee? Our rich volcanic soil, warm climate and abundant rainfall combine to create an ideal environment to grow the perfect beans for the perfect brew. The owners, Sam and Natalie Suiter, endeavor to source, roast, and provide the finest coffee for you right from our island home!
Loving where you live has a lot more to do with your social connections than just the roof over your head. And, that is why I love Kai Coffee in Hawaii Kai! It is the perfect place to connect with those you love. Spending time with your family, friends, and neighbors will boost your happiness and overall well-being. The coffee will give you a boost, too
