Fill Your Hawaii Home With Modern Living Essentials

Modern Living in Hawaii

Recently my friend purchased a Princeville home for sale from HawaiiLife.com and I needed a gift for his house warming party. I personally hate gifts where somebody buys me something to decorate my house because they generally don’t know my or my wife’s tastes. So the first thing that came to mind was food, because I know for a fact this friend loves food. So, while searching for some decadent sweets, I came across these gourmet goodies made in Hawaii. A perfect gift.

But I found something more then just these fancy candies. The actual site promoting them, Modern Living Hawaii, had more interesting ideas for everyday living in the islands. Like these labor day bbq ideas from William-Sonoma. And even do it your self decorating info.

This got me thinking, who is writing this blog? The answer is Morgan Childs, a business woman running Moana Events – a full service event and wedding planning design firm based out of Honolulu. Well, my hat is off to you, Morgan, for providing a great resource about modern living in Hawaii. You have some great links to interesting information that I’m sure our readers will enjoy.

That’s so classic- I just saw that from a search of ‘Modern Homes in Hawaii’ for a Gallery I was building (they’re hard to find) and came across her blog. It’s good work.

Morgan and Moana events were hired by our Rotary Club of Kapaa to help promote this year’s Taste of Hawaii which is a wonderful sunday brunch fundraiser that serves over 20 non-profits on Kauai. Moana is a very pro company. Mahalo Morgan.
