Out on the water you will often find wind surfers, kite surfers, stand up paddlers, fishermen, and kayakers. It is also a great spot for whale watching as the Humpback whales migrate to the warm Maui waters to have their babies each winter. It is an amazing treat to see the immense whales frolicking so close in the ocean, and to hear them singing under the water.
Convenient Location
The convenient location in Kihei is only about 12 miles to the Kahului Airport, 7 miles to Maalaea and the Aquarium, and 1 mile south to Azekas Place; where you will find grocery stores, gyms, bars, restaurants, nail and beauty shops, coffee shops, and many retail stores. Wailea Resort, with its pristine swimming beaches, world class golf courses, and chic restaurants & shopping are only 8 miles further south.
