Dragon for Salesforce (available as an iPhone app only) allows you to dictate notes directly into Propertybase. Currently, the app works best for logging calls.
Step 1 – Create a Note
Dictate your note by clicking “Tap and dictate” in the center of the screen.
You will now see a screen that says “Recording…”
Speak clearly. Hint: speak the words “period” or “comma” to place these punctuations in your note.
Click the red “Done” button at the bottom of the page when you are finished dictating.
Step 2 – Review your Note
Now you’ll see your note. You can edit your note by clicking on the keyboard icon on the bottom left of your screen. Once you’re satisfied with your note, click the icon of the downward pointing arrow on the bottom right of the screen.
Step 3 – Choose Log a Call
Click “log a call” from the menu that appears.
Step 4 – Send Your Note
You’re now taken to a screen like this. Your screen will vary depending on your Salesforce setup.
Fill in 2 fields on this page:
- “Subject” – click the blue arrow (pointing right) and select “Call”
- “Name” – click the white space to the right of “Name.” You’ll be taken to a new screen that will allow you to search your Contacts. Click in the “Search” box and start typing your Contact’s name. The app will begin “Processing…” and bring up your Contacts. Select the Contact you want to associate this note with and the app will bring you back to the previous screen.
Finally, click the blue “Send” button at the top right of the screen. That’s it!
Finding Your Note in Propertybase
Your note from Dragon dictation can now be found attached to the associated Contact under “Activity History.”
This will also automatically mark a Hawaii Life lead as “1st Reply.”
You can now create a “New Task” to set a follow up reminder with the Contact if you like.

Dragon is cool. But what I need is a way to automate my marketing efforts, track my transactions(all 40 of them) and followup.

Aloha Ron, let’s get on the phone and talk about what you’d like Propertybase to do.
