Buzz’s Sand Trap Restaurant at the Waikoloa Beach Resort – Great Food and Atmosphere
Located in Waikoloa Beach Resort on the 14th hole of the beach course, this restaurant has been open 2 years on Monday. This is a sister restaurant of Buzz’s in Kailua on Oahu. In my opinion, “Big Island more better.” Buzz’s Sand Trap restaurant opens at 3:30 p.m. for Happy Hour (3:30-5:30 p.m.) and free Pupu’s (appetizers).
When entering into the restaurant you should immediately feel comfortable in the laid back surroundings, with great golf and Mauna Kea views. The service is outstanding and they have a nice fish tank for viewing with a Zebra eel, a yellow tang, a Hawaiian lion fish, and a clown fish.
They also have a pleasant salad bar selection and great Kiawe wood charcoal grilled steaks. They serve prime rib Friday through Sunday nights and are well stocked with cocktails.
