Kohala Coast Condo Sales Pick Up at Mauna Lani Resort

Mauna Lani is selling!

I recently reported on the sales activity for the first quarter of 2010 for the Mauna Lani Resort…but the really big news is that there are ten properties with pending contracts due to close soon, all of which have gone under contract within the last 30-45 days!

Of the current pending sales, three of those are in the Villages, two at the Fairways, two at Kulalani and one each in The Point, Golf Villas and Palm Villas. No single family homes or lots are pending at this time.

Yet there are still some great deals available. My picks for the better bargains are a:

Kulalani Lagoon Pool

A 3 bed / 2 bath at Kulalani (MLS# 221870) priced at $649,000 with single car garage and overlooking the pools (two) and rec center.

With the owner of the Shops At Mauna Lani having taken over their own management, I am happy to report that there are three businesses recently opened—a coffee shop, a juice bar, and clothing boutique “Jams World.”

The Mauna Lani Resort was host to the recent Big Island Film Festival with lots of great movies and events including a screen writers’ workshop and a concert where one could rub elbows with actors, writers, and directors as well. I was fortunate enough to attend daily and even got to participate as a judge of movies featured.  Great time and wonderful annual event.
