Artists and Art Lovers Drawn to the Hawaiian Islands – Exhibit by Charlotte Nairn
It seems like the world of art always seems to surface when I’m with clients, and with new and old friends! I had the fortune to hang out at the beach at Mauna Kea (Kauna’oa Bay) with my friend Charlotte Nairn. Our conversation often revolves around the amazing scenery, colors, and sounds that arouse the senses!
Charlotte is an accomplished artist with a history of exhibits in New York City galleries, Texas, and Hawaii. Her latest exhibition is at the renowned Merriman’s Restaurant in Waimea starting 8/18/11.
Meeting art enthusiasts is a common occurrence. When I sold art before real estate, I was lucky enough to become friends with many. One friend is now a real estate client and he is so excited to be closing on an amazing Wai’ula’ula condo at Mauna Kea in just a few days. The Big Island feels like home to him, he says. It’s no surprise…artists and art lovers are drawn to the islands from all over the world.
Here’s a more traditional oil painting of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Kauna’oa Bay
I hope to see you at the beach…or at the next art event!! A hui hou!
