Official Agent Requests are being accepted for the Hawaii Life Charitable Fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation. The Hawaii Life Charitable Fund makes grants to programs that work to preserve Hawaii’s beauty and culture but supporting it’s people.
Since it’s inception, HLCF has donated to numerous organizations such as The Hawaiian Islands Land Trust, Family Promise of Hawaii, The Hawaiian Surfing Federation, The Maui Humane Society, Hawaii Islands Veterans Memorial Inc, The Kahilu Theater & more. In 2016, HLCF contributions totaled $31,965 and to date in 2017, $10,850.
Agent Request Guidelines 2017
– $250 maximum funds awarded to any organization on behalf of each agent
– Organizations must be in alignment with our theme for 2017, “A Hale For All” – supporting housing initiatives and reducing homelessness in Hawaii.
– Organizations must be federally recognized 501c3 non-profit in good standing.
– All requests must be received at least 30 days prior to the date needed and are subject to approval by the HLCF Board and the Hawaii Community Foundation.
