Adopt-A-Highway at Makai Pier is a project that is near and dear to my heart, because my family used to camp in this area, 30 years ago, when I was a kid.
Fond memories of fishing, diving, and netting, until the sun went down and then cards and cribbage late into the night with a campfire.
