Aaah the Views – Bed and Breakfast Life on the Big Island of Hawaii

Some of you are reading this from just around the corner, while others are halfway around planet Earth. In the world of social networking and the internet, this seems like the best and most environmentally friendly way to let you all know that I am enthusiastically pursuing a new career path!

Working with people in real estate has been an interest of mine for some time now. The time seems right and I have joined forces with Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers, based in my hometown of Waimea.

Real estate sales and running Aaah the Views, (the B&B I’ve owned and operated since 2003) are a good match for dual careers as they complement each other. Over the years, a number of our B&B guests have come on vacation with the intention of buying property—whether it be for retirement, investment, or just holiday getaways, and of course, the door swings both ways, as we all know people (some of them dear friends—ouch!) who have chosen to leave the islands permanently.

I’m going to be writing a series of blog posts about working and living in Hawaii as B&B proprietors. We’ll just call it, B&B Life on the Big Island, or Hawaii Big Island B&B Life. Whatever its title—look for it: coming soon.
