Oceanfront Walking/Running Trails Near Napili Lani

The start of the Kapalua Coastal Trail is a couple hundred feet from Napili Lani and runs along Kapalua Bay (above video and below pic), past the Ritz Carlton Resort, through a nature preserve overlooking Oneloa Bay, and then down the hill towards Flemmings Beach.

I recently enjoy the oceanfront trail that fronts the Napili Kai Resort looking directly out toward the pristine turquoise water one can see turtles near the shore, pods of whales not too far off, stand up paddlers getting some exercise, sailboats like the Teralani escorting snorkelers and the stunning outlines of Lana’i and Moloka’i miles out to see. Restaurants in Close Proximity to Napili Lani

Merriman’s at Kapalua is literally a 5 minute walk from Napili Lani and I would highly recommend sitting out on their outer lanai, which sits right on a rocky point overlooking Kapalua Bay – the scenery is stunning and the food and drink are quite nice as well. Pineapple Grill is more like a 15 minute walk or a short drive from Napili Lani – they have great food and regular local entertainment.

Championship Level Golf Courses Near Napili Lani

Featured here is a shot from the scenic Bay Course at the Kapalua Golf Course with the Pineapple Hill subdivision and West Maui Mountains in the background. The Bay Course is one of the most beautiful courses in the entire state and is my personal favorite of Maui’s 17 courses.

Currently, the 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions is taking place at the nearby Plantation Course. Both of these courses possess stunning natural beauty, are very challenging, and are just a couple minutes away from Napili Lani.
